Condor conducted a data collection field experiment at the New Jerusalem Airport (1Q4) where methane targets were deployed alongside a controlled methane release. Condor managed and conducted the field work with participants from industry and DOE. Participants included SkyCam Aviation, Plumarea, Skydio, LLNL, and MSTS.
Targets were deployed with 100%, 4.6%, and 0% methane. There was also a methane plume release of approximately 4 kg/hr. The targets and plume release was imaged by SkyCam from an aircraft mounted SWIR HSI camera at 1000’ AGL. The plume and targets were also imaged by Plumarea with their methane OGI cameras and by MSTS with a LWIR HSI imager.
Condor’s targets were successfully deployed in an operational setting; transported, set up in the field, filled with methane, imaged via aircraft, and disassembled and stored. The targets were deployed with different methane concentrations and different optical depths creating a calibration curve.

ROCX 2025
September 2025
Condor participated in Rochester Institute of Technology’s ROCX 2025 open data collection. We deployed 4 of our SWIR targets filled with 5% methane in a variety of configurations over several days. The targets were flown imaged by drones, aircraft, and satellites. It was a wonderful experience working with so many great people from the remote sensing community.

Cleantech Open 2025
July 2025
Condor completed Cleantech Open accelerator program in 2025 where we were a regional winner in the pitch competition. The accelerator culminated with the national pitch completion at the Verge and Trellis Impact conference where we competed in the national pitch competition as as a semi finalist.
